Halloween Hockey
The Peewee Kings had a double header this weekend to make for some exciting Halloween Hockey.  On Saturday the Kings would visit the Durham Crusaders in Whitby.

Our boys played 3 solid periods vs the Home team but would come up short in the end 5-4.  The coaching staff was very pleased with the Kings high energy and tenacious efforts. The Kings moved the puck well and showed they can play a fast paced, and gritty game vs a very skilled team.

On Sunday the Peewee Kings would head to Hockeyville in Stirling to visit the Blues in their second meeting of the season.  The Kings jumped ahead with two quick goals early in the first, but the Blues would answer back with a goal of their own cutting the lead in half.  by the end of the second period the Kings lead 5-2.  Early in the third the Blues would find PEC on their heals and popped a couple goals to make the game pretty interesting.  In the end, PEC Kings would end the game and the weekend on a high note winning 7-4.

The Kings next game is on the road in Tweed for their fist look at the Hawks this season, and will host Oshawa on Sunday at the Essroc , puck drops at 5:45.
