On Saturday the Peewee Kings hosted the Stirling Blues at the Picton Community center for the first time this season.From the drop of the puck it was all Kings scoring two quick goals early in the first period and they never looked back. Final for this game was 7-0. The Kings are really starting to gel as a team with good puck movements, great back checking and the defense looking quite solid. The Counties net minder Owen Tyres kept the Kings net free of Stirling rubber posting his first shutout of the season. The coaching staff were pleased at the players efforts and look forward to the next game when the Kings host the Durem Crusaders on Sunday Oct,18 in Wellington, puck drops at 5:45.
