Initiation & Local League Formation Day
Location and times for our Initiation (Timbits) and Local League players formation day announced.

Welcome back to another exciting year of hockey with the Prince Edward County Minor Hockey Association.  The PECMHA is pleased to announce that we'll continue our affiliation with the Inter Community Hockey League (ICHL) again this season.  The Executive has received many positive remarks regarding our transition to the ICHL last year and we look forward to building on that success this season.

Before the season in the ICHL begins, the Executive's first and most important task is ensuring we form equally skilled teams in each division.  This team formation begins with your child's first session on the ice.  The following is the dates and times for our Initiation and Local League divisions.

Saturday, September 23rd

Picton Arena

Initiation Program (Timbits)    -  9:00am - 10:00am

Novice Local League               - 10:00am - 11:00am

Atom Local League                 - 11:00am - 12:00pm

Peewee Local League              - 12:00pm -   1:00pm

Bantam Local League             -   3:00pm - 4:00pm

Midget Local League               -   4:00pm - 5:00pm

Practices for the Timbits and all other Local league teams (excluding the Midget division) will begin the following week.  Practice location and times will be announced during the parent information sessions on Formation Day.  The parent information session will be conducted by a member of the Executive right after your child gets on the ice.  The information session will only last a few minutes with details such as practice times, team formation plans, fundraising details, power skating programming, etc.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the above information or your child will be unable to attend the formation day, please contact Ben Cowan at [email protected]

We look forward to seeing everyone around the rink and back on the ice soon.

Thank you,

PECMHA Executive
