Body Checking Clinic
Submitted By Pres on Thu 08 09, 18
This years PECHMA body checking clinic will be held August 25th and 26th from 10:30pm-12:00pm in Wellington.

Although it is not yet mandatory the PECMHA Executive and the Bantam Rep coach both agree that each player participating in a level of hockey that allows for body contact should attend a Body Checking clinic at least once to learn to protect both themselves and other players on the ice.

Body contact is an important part of the game and learning how to use your body effectively, protect your body in vulnerable situations and create more time and space by protecting the puck will help improve your players game.

PECMHA is proud to have Chris Longo host a Body checking clinic on Saturday August 25th from 10:30am - 12:00pm and Sunday August 26th from 10:30am - 12:00pm at Wellington Essroc Arena. Cost is $75.00 per player for the 3 hour clinic spread over 2 days and can be paid at time of Skate. We ask though if you could email your players name to [email protected] so we can make sure we have the numbers to be able to run the clinic.

Thank you for your support
