Bantam Body Contact and AAA Tryout Camps

The PECMHA Rep development coach Chris Longo and Game Ready Hockey Development are offering 2 Camps that might be of interest to our Players. 

The PECMHA Executive Strongly recommends that all players trying out for Bantam Rep Level Hockey attend at least 1 Body Contact Camp. We hope to also offer a clinic in Wellington Late August 2019.

2019 Effective Body Contact Camp (Bantam) - http://www.gamereadyhockey.com/pretryout-1-1

Players will be taught effective ways to engage in body contact as well as educated on ineffective ways. 
OHL video will be used to present examples and discuss all types of body contact effective and ineffective.
Players will also be taught the difference between safe and unsafe body contact.
Also included in practice and discussion:
Angling and riding out, Separating the man from the puck, Open ice / hip checks, Pinning and battling, Standing up Stick on puck - body on body, Counter-hitting, Absorbing Hits.

Join Kingston Frontenacs (OHL) and Quinte Red Devils AAA Skills Coach Chris Longo and Guelph Storm (OHL) Associate Coach Jake Grimes for our AAA Pre-Tryout Camp to get your player ready for their AAA tryout skates.
