PECMHA Body Checking Clinic
This years PECHMA body checking clinic will be held August 27th and 29th from 5:30pm-7:00pm in Wellington.
Although it is not mandatory the PECMHA Executive and our coaches agree that each player participating in any level of hockey that allows for body contact should attend a Body Checking clinic at least once to learn to protect both themselves and other players on the ice.
Body contact is an important part of the game and learning how to use your body effectively, protect your body in vulnerable situations and create more time and space by protecting the puck will help improve a players game.
PECMHA is proud to have Joe Davies host a Specialized Body checking clinic on Tuesday August 27th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm and Thursday August 29th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at Wellington Lehigh Arena. Cost is $80.00 per player for the 3 hour clinic spread over 2 days and can be paid at time of Skate. We ask though if you could email your players name to [email protected] so we can make sure we have the numbers to be able to run the clinic (we need 10 or more players for this clinic to run). This clinic is open to Bantam - Midget levels of hockey, Local League or Representative. (Priority will be given to players however trying out for Bantam Rep)
