Lehigh Cement Bantam Kings Declared 2019/20 OMHA Co-Champions

Prince Edward County Minor Hockey Association is extremely proud to announce that our Lehigh Cement Bantam B Rep Kings have been declared the 2019/20 Hockey Season OMHA All Ontario #RedHat Co-Champions!!

In a public article posted on the OMHA website on Saturday April 11, 2020 the OMHA released that they will be awarding the coveted #RedHats to all of the teams that reached the Finals of the OMHA Playdowns in 2020.

“Our goal is to be positive and proactive in a trying environment by rewarding the players and teams who deservedly made it that far through the highly competitive Playdowns,” says Ian Taylor, OMHA Executive Director. “It’s a simple gesture, but hopefully a meaningful one, as well.”

PECMHA has not had an All Ontario Champion team in many years. We are very proud and excited for all of the players, staff and families involved with this team throughout the season. Congratulations!!

PECMHA will ensure there is much celebration and recognition surrounding our All Ontario Champions once the COVID-19 social distancing has been lifted and we can congregate in groups once again.
