Due to COVID-19 the PECMHA Executive was unable to host its Annual General Meeting as planned on May 5 2020. The AGM signals the closure of the hockey season and gives our membership the opportunity to hear about everything that went on during the season, receive a financial update from the Treasurer, vote for vacant Executive positions, hear about what is planned for the next season, and ask questions they may have.It is still the Executives plan to host an "in person" AGM as soon as we are allowed by Local Heath Authorities to do so.
The PECMHA is a 100% volunteer-driven community group that supports and provides leadership to the approximate 300 youth who play minor hockey in our community. It's a working Executive. Volunteer-driven organizations rely upon the generosity of time to make the organization what it is. Whether you Coach, Assistant Coach, Manage, work as a Trainer, open a gate for a Timbit team, these are the people that make PECMHA what it is. Lots of people have strong opinions about what it takes to make an organization. Getting involved in the Executive is one way to make it happen. Bring your energy, optimism and fresh ideas, as the Executive needs team players who are player and kid-centric.
