Hockey Season Continues February 16 2021
Please read the entire article: The PECMHA Hockey Executive is excited to announce that the continuation of the 2020/21 limited hockey season will begin on Tuesday, February 16th 2021. Please keep an eye on the website calendar for your team schedule. Teams and coaches will remain the same as they were prior to the Holiday break and lockdown. Coaches will reach out to families once the schedule is established.
Play will continue to be 4 on 4. Protocols for facility entry, screening and other mandated health protocols such as wearing of masks and player/parent or guardian ratios will also remain as they were prior to the Holiday break.
Please continue to maintain the 1 parent/guardian to player ratio. OMHA continues to be in the 3B Prevent Stage of the Return to hockey Framework https://www.omha.net/covid-19
The County of Prince Edward has maintained the facility use guidelines from before the lockdown. We continue to have the ice slots that were available to PECMHA prior to the holiday break and the County of Prince Edward will NOT be opening the Picton arena this season for ice use.
