Registration for the 2019/20 Prince Edward County Minor hockey season IS OPEN NOW.  The PECMHA Executive provides you with two options to register your child for the upcoming hockey season.

Option # 1 – On-Line Registration

The On-Line Registration through the Hockey Canada portal is ready for you to proceed.  Please click on the link below, or through the webpage (under Registration tab) to login to your existing account and get the season started.  If you do not remember the email address associated with your account, please contact our [email protected].

If your child is new to Prince Edward County Minor Hockey, and you wish to register on-line, please contact our [email protected]. This includes any new players that have moved to the area, players being registered for the Initiation program for the first time, a player who is new to hockey in any division. 

Please note that the only method of payment through on-line process is with a credit card.

Option # 2 – In-Person Registration

In-Person dates are listed below for you to come and register your child with Prince Edward County Minor Hockey if you prefer the In-Person registration method.  Please bring a completed registration form (click for form) and full payment in the form of either cash, cheque or credit card. 

If your child is new to Hockey Canada and Prince Edward County Minor Hockey, please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of your current address (utility bill with current address and copy of your driver’s license, also with current address).  This information is  MANDATORY for new members and you will not be able to register your child without it. Alternatively, digital copies of this information can be sent to [email protected] in advance of the in-person registration date.   

If your child is new to PECMHA but has played hockey in another center you may need to complete a residential transfer in order to register.  Please contact [email protected] for details.

Methods of payment for in-person registration are cash, cheque or credit card.

In Person Registration Locations and Dates

Wellington Arena

August 25th 10:00am to 12:00pm, August 26th 5:00pm to 8:00pm and August 30th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm


Picton Arena

August 31st 10:00am to 12:00pm


*If your son/daughter is planning to try out for the PECMHA Representative team, the tryout fees and power skating will be included in your registration. If your hockey player is released from the rep tryout process, you will either be refunded your power skating fee or your last payment will not be processed if that was the option you selected.

One parent from each family new to Minor Hockey must participate in the mandatory “Respect in Sport” on line training session.  There is a small fee associated with this training, but it’s a OMHA mandatory component for your son/daughter to participate in the Initiation, Local League or Representative programs.  See the link below.
