Online registration is now open for the PECMHA 2024-2025 season. Registration will be open until Sept 1, 2024.

Welcome to the Registration page for the 2024/2025 PECMHA season. We are excited to kick off the season in a few short weeks. This page should offer all you need to know to get your player(s) registered for the new season. Please read this page carefully and to completion as there have been a few changes to the registration process. Of course if there are any questions, please feel to reach me at either [email protected] or [email protected]. I will be filling both roles of President and Registrar until a replacement is found for the Registrar role. If you are interested, or know someone that is, please direct them my way.

The registration will look a little different then in previous years. Now when registering for Local League, you can choose between LL with Power-skating or just LL. This will give you the opportunity to include the power-skating fee in your installments if you choose that payment method.  Also, if your player is trying out for Rep but you want to guarantee a spot in LL Power-skating, you can register for Rep in the appropriate division then add LL Power-skating. If the player makes the Rep team then the fee for Power-skating will be reimbursed. You will not register for an age division for power-skating. Divisions will be determined once all registrations are in.   For more information, please see the Available Programs tab under 2024/2025 Season Information.

Tryouts will also look a little different this season. The OMHA now requires us to offer 4 "Prep" skates before tryouts begin. These organized skates can be used for skills, drills, small area games or body checking clinics. The Prep skates will not be evaluated as a Tryout since they are not mandatory. However they will be facilitated by the coaches of the division and may  include some drills  that could be used during the tryout process. In the U15 division, the first 2 Prep Skates will be used for the Body Checking Clinic. This is a mandatory program for all 1st year U15 skaters who haven't previously completed the course. The 3 final 2 Prep skates will be open to all U15 players.

You will see a slight increase in the overall fee, however it is a combination of last years registration fee as well the the $25 "Preskate" fee we have charged in previous seasons.   Due to ice fees remaining the same this season and a generous donation from the Oldtimer Men's Hockey League, we have been able to freeze fees for all players this season. We will be offering only 1 Pre-skate for each division before the Prep skates begin. You will still need to register for this separately and a $10 fee will be applied.
See Rep Tryout Information under the 2024/2025 Season Information, for all dates and times.

We will continue to offer instalment payments for registration by either Credit card or e-transfer. If you choose to pay by credit card, a small administration fee will be added to each payment. If you choose to pay by e-transfer please send payment amount to [email protected] immediately following registration. Payment dates will be August 15th, September 15 and October 15th. Reminders will not be sent out for these payment dates. There will be a $25 late charge automatically added to your account for any payment that is 7 days past due. There will be no exceptions! If your player is registering for Rep and fails to make the team, then a reimbursement will be issued after October 15th. The amount of the reimbursement will vary from player to player depending on AP possibilities as well as powerskating programs offered.

For all new players, proper documentation must be included when creating a new profile in Hockey Canada.
Documentation must include player’s birth certificate and a parent drivers license with the current address. The
online course, Respect in Sport, must also be completed before the players will be allowed to take part in any on-
ice activities. You can find a link for this course on our website as well.

If your player is wanting to try out for the first time, and you live in PEC on Victoria Road or North, then please contact me at [email protected] to confirm your eligibility due to OMHA border restrictions.

If you are new to the area and your player has previously played in another centre, please contact me at
[email protected] for further direction.

To keep informed with all news for PECMHA, please create an account from our website. This will enable the system to email your inbox directly everytime a new article is submitted to the website. You can also follow us on Facebook and X (Twitter)
