The Peewee Kings hosted the Stirling Blues in the first game of the EOMHA playoffs in Wellington on Sunday.  From the opening face-off to the final buzzer in the third it was all Kings.  The Kings opened up the scoring early in the first with a dirty goal with all forwards going hard to the net crashing and banging County style.

The PeeweeAE Kings had a very busy weekend heading into the Christmas season with 3 games in 3 nights starting off by hosting the Napanee Stars for the first time this regular season Friday night in Picton.  This game was very even with scoring chances at both ends of the ice, i great game to watch.  With the score all tied up at 2's.. both teams were battling for the go ahead..but in the last few minutes of the 3rd period, Napanee would find the back of the Kings net winning 3-2. A great weekend for the Peewee Ae Kings.  The boys played two games in three night defeating the Stirling Blues Friday night 6-1 and a big win on the road Sunday night in Ennismore 4-3.  The coaching staff are pleased with the efforts and hard work the boys put in over the weekend.  The next game is this Saturday in Picton @3pm vs The Ennismore Eagles.

The Peewee Kings had a double header this weekend to make for some exciting Halloween Hockey.  On Saturday the Kings would visit the Durham Crusaders in Whitby.

Our boys played 3 solid periods vs the Home team but would come up short in the end 5-4.  The coaching staff was very pleased with the Kings high energy and tenacious efforts. The Kings moved the puck well and showed they can play a fast paced, and gritty game vs a very skilled team.
